Mitch plays the Double Bass, Melodeon and Concertina for Ceilidhs, Folk Dances, Country Dances, Barn Dances and Festivals and at Sessions and Musicians' Workshops.

You can hear him with English Ceilidh Bands "Up Tails All " and "Fish 'n' Taters" with the Derby-based group "The Ram Company", wth the trio "The Old Fashioned" and "The Derbyshire Volunteers".

He may also be found at the Mumpers Ceilidh Club in Derby and at the Coopers Tavern session in Burton on Trent.
